How screen-based recoil assistance works

Optical flow follows textured points from one frame to the next. Forward/backward checks and geometry checks help reject inconsistent matches. Fixed scope frames can still dominate an estimate if the lens region is too broad.

The program uses smaller lens regions before fallback regions. When tracking becomes unreliable it waits for consistent observations before restoring positional feedback. Input limits still apply during recovery.

A blank wall offers few features; vegetation and moving characters offer features that may move independently. Neither situation guarantees a useful estimate. Keep these limitations in mind when interpreting a demo.
